Files in AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView

Does anyone know what the files that are stored in AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView are for?  They take up a lot of disk space and I'm wondering if they can be deleted.

File names are similar to 0b9aae46674041e0b9a6cb22288540b6 with no extension.

Are they in the buffers directory?  If so, they are qvds created automatically by the BUFFER Load prefix.  Check your User Preferences, General "Keep Orphaned QVD Buffers",  If it's checked on, I suggest checking it off.  You can read about this option here:  https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/November2018/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/User_Prefere...

They are not in the Buffers directory. Same directory as that folder, but not in it.  "Keep Orphaned QVD Buffers" is unchecked by default.

Complete path: C:\Users\qlikviewuser\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\.  This same location contains the Buffers folder and a QVPE.dat file.
