First Sorted Value with Set analysis

Hi All,

I require a small help in first sorted value with set analysis.

Scenario.

I have EMPID with Start end and end Dates, First sorted value is working fine with only the recent end date but my requirement is I have to give a date in an input box and I want a recent employee who start date <= vAsofDate and EndDate >=vAsofDate.

The problematic table is the second straight table.

Any help ??

I got it,  StartDate and EndDate are not formatted to Dates.

Please find attached qvw second straight table and edit script for the formatting of dates
