Formatting question executive dashboard demo file

In the demo file 'executive dashboard' I noticed that the caption background color of the list boxes is white. But when you go to the properties of the list box > Caption tab > you see that the background color is really set to grey.

How did they do that??

The checkbox "Show Caption" is unchecked so no captions are displayed.. or am I looking at the wrong tab?

i think it's because when the first setting theme, setting background color = white
