Gantt Chart - Who had a throughput time visualization already "transfered" in a related barchart (e.g. resource need calculation per time period)?

Dear community colleagues,

started as a beginner some weeks ago and visualized already workpieces flows, based on different worksteps, in a Gantt-Chart. It works.

But I struggle with an additional wish: How to transfer the known sum hours of workload for each Gantt- Chart bar (each Gantt-Chart bar is related to a different resource) into an additional bar chart, to show the daily based recource need. See the picture below.

May be somebody has a tip or already an example how to do.

Thanks in advance.

Gerald

I think you need a bar chart with 2 dimensions (Date, Resource) and 1 expression (SUM(Hours)).

Hi Iassen,

thanks. I struggle more with the DATE , because depends on some variables (productivity, shift system) the lenght of the DATE could be for example 2 days, or 3 or 4, ... . And the workload has then distributed over this 2, 3 or 4 ... days.

I think I got you now. I think that what you need is a Mekko chart. Check it here: http://community.qlik.com/wikis/qlikview10/mekko-charts.aspx
