Generating data points based off of number of occurrences.

Hey Community,

Currently I am trying to retrieve the top groups based off the number of occurrences. For example Say I have a Category of types of players in Soccer. I would want to be able to get the top 5 scorers for a specific date. So the questions I would want to be answered is: Who are the top 5 scorers from 10/21/13? I believe there should be a query or option in the properties to retrieve this type of data. Any suggestions?
