Getting data from two different tables using matching field values

Hi,

I'm stuck with a problem and cant seem to be able to solve it [:$]

I have got two table one which has details of the Company as its Name, its sector and the name of director. The other has details of the director who has experience in various industries as Name, Sector & Experience.

What i want to be able to do is find the experience of the director in the sector of the company.

I have attached a QV as example and as a solution I want

For company ABC in the Finance sector, the experience of Mr X the director ( who has experience in Finance, Power & Industrial sector) should be shown as 5 (relevant to Finance sector)

Thanks

I don't understand why you can't to add new key field for these tables, but if you want, you can use some expressions in chart to achieve your results:

This is a part of the task i have in hand - I can not link these two tables by anything other than the field 'Director' as the remaining data structure wouldnt allow it
