Graph keeps refreshing!!!

Hi Everyone,

Recently I am facing a strange issue...when I open the Qlikview Application from the access point everything looks good.

The moment I make any selection, one specific graph(Combo Chart) keeps refreshing all the time which is making the use of QV App annoying. The graph is quite simple...has 3 expressions over Timeperiod: Curr Actuals, Budget and Prev Actuals

Has anyone faced the same issue..if so then any solutions so far?

Can you see if the object are Vinculated/Desvinculated?

Hi Enrique,

Thanks for the interest..the object is not attached to any other object...it is an individual object which shows data for every selection made on the sheet.

Are you using a calculated dimension? If so, that would explain why your chart is re-calculated every time you make a selection.

are you copied the object from other app and changed the expressions  if so try to create new object and create the expressions .

As Kuczynska‌ mentioned , if you have calculated dimension it posses problem and also check if your referring to any ORPHAN columns in the calculation .

Hello,

Same here -- the issue just popped up. No calculated dimensions, just a table graph.

It all works fine until you make your first selecting. Then all graphs in the tab refresh every 2 to 3 seconds. VERY annoying... any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you used Now() Function in any of the Dimensions or Expression?

I resolved this issue by shifting all complex expressions in the backend. There were many complex expressions related to Date. I added all expressions in backend, stored in variables and used variables in table.
