Help..QlikView Free Edition wont reopen documents

Hi

I am using QlikView free edition and I am trying to create a new document.

I create the document add some elements and save it to my local hard drive.    If I close and reopen the document I receive the warning below.    Please help why is this happening this is a brand new document that is only on my computer, I understand the limitation of the free editions but I am not trying to open this document on any other computer.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell me where I can download SR5 for version 10?  I do not get this choice on the download website.

Nope. This should not have any effect at all.

That's then a very weird error.

Hi Ian.

In order to download that you need to be a partner or customer.

You may login with your client email ID and try to download.

Thanks for the link however this is still SR4.   I think I may have found SR5 and will post a link to help others when I can confirm it is the correct version.

Thanks unfortunately I do not have this as the customer account is held at my parent company and they wont permit me to have the details.

I have just found SR5 searching the discussion for so will give it try.

Hi

The download link for SR5 is, chnage the x86 to x64 for 64bit

Hi

Just too let everyone know this is how I sorted this out.

Thanks to the advice of this who answered I downloaded the latest SR for QV 10.   I performed a complete de-install including manually deleting the %commonprogramfiles% qliktech folder.

I then did a fresh install and all is now working.   Problem solved however I have to rebuild everything, themes, colour swatches etc etc
