I am looking out for other solution for the cyclic group(need the functionality but icon don't require). Do we have any other solution. Can we achieve this using radio buttons. Or do we have any other alternate?
You could use a selection of buttons which amend a variable used within the chart. It takes up more space but is sometimes easier for users to navigate as they can be clearly labelled.
using this island solution you can even have expressions (or its parts) depending on selected dimension. It may be very useful in some cases, for example to find last day of some period with set analysis (where you have year, month, week, ...) as dimensions.
