Help with Select In Field

Hi Guys

I have a problem here

I have set the button from my landing page to move to another tab, clear all, and select the object.  I can also get it to choose a single entry using the 'Select In Field' functionality.

But I cannot get it to select more than one item in the field

my field called PLE has values ..

B718P
B719P
B720P
B111P
B99P

and from the landing page, I want to select 3 of the values.

I have tried

(B719P|B111P|B99P)

=('*B719P*' or '*B111P*' or '*B99P*')

and many other conbinations

Can anyone advise please?

Thanks

John

These two work:

  • (B719P|B111P|B99P)
  • = '(B719P or B111P or B99P)'

talk is cheap, supply exceeds demand

Check if 'Always One Selected Value' is enabled. Or, could you post a sample?

The field it is trying to filter is just a Straight Table, with one dimension and one value field which is an aggregated field, and I would like to auto select from another tab multiple values in the dimension field.

Manually, holding down the CTRL key, you can select multple values, but using the 'Select in field' action on a button from another sheetdoes not select more than one.

Selecting multiple values should not be an issue. Please share your sample app to find the actual issue.
