Help with logic

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I have a list of Partners for an organization and their particular sales data according to Year-Quarter.

I want to find out a list of 'Net New Dormant' partners for the Year-Quarter selected. The logic for finding 'Dormant' partners for the select Year-Quarter is that if the Partners has not had any sales in the Previous 2 quarters and current quarter, but had sales in the 7 quarter before the Previous 2 quarters, then it is a 'Dormant' partner in the selected Year-Quarter.

For e.g.:

Selected Year-Quarter - '2014 Q4'

Sales in Quarter '2014 Q4', '2014 Q3', '2014 Q2' = 0(zero)

Sales in Quarters '2012 Q3'-'2014 Q1' is not 0(zero)

Now I want to find the 'Net New Dormant' which basically tells me how many NEW dormant partners I have in the selected Year-Quarter, which basically means the partner was not dormant in the previous Year-Quarter but it is in the selected Year-Quarter.

It employs the same Dormant logic for the calculation.
