Hi,

What I meant was, if you go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools  from your computer and then select eiher ODBC Data Sources (32-bit) or ODBC Data Sources (64-bit) -> then select Add on right side of the panel ->  then select Driver to Microsoft Access (*.mdb). Fill in all necessary field with appropriate value. Once this is done you should be able to connect to MS Access from Qlik Sense or View.

I get that, but the database is located on my system and I do have access to it.  Qlik just doesn't allow me to go there!

Hi,

Have you added the MS Access under  ODBC Data Source (System DSN)?

Not sure I'm understanding the question.

So...I connect from the database on my system (that I can't connect to via Qlik) to the databases on the server via from the database on my system.  And I can connect to these underlying databases on our servers via Qlick.

I cannot connect to the Access 2013 databases I've built on my system from Qlik.

So what exactly is it that I might need to add to either the database on my system or to my installation of Qlik that I might not have?  And where do I get it?

Thanks for your assistance and patience!

Perfect.  Thanks a million.  So I'm thinking I have to do that for every project with every access database involved.  Correct"

Appreciate the advice and support!
