How can I change the background color of a searchbox?

Hello,

1) How can I change the background color of a searchbox?

I can changes the borders of a searchbox but I did not find how i can change the background.

Its default is white.

2) How can I change the color of the search text, search symbol ?

I've just tried some options:

-Object properties

-Theme options

Both not succesfull. It seems to me this canot be changed?

Hi Keon, I believe, all these settings (Search Box Back ground color , search text color and search symbol) in search object are by default and we can't change these settings.

May be you can try with Macro option.

You can raise a ticket with QlikTech and they will provide more info on search object or raise the this Idea in the Ideas sections.

I think that it's background can't be changed. I found that options just in List Boxes

Thanks for confirming

I conclude that the background color of a searchbox can't be adjusted up till 24 dec 2014.
