Hi Friends,
Just curious how can excel data be added in Qlikview in such a way so that we have relationship between the data just as like relationship between tables. Basically, my question is , can we take excel as a substitute for a database while establishing relationship between data while dashboarding in QlikView.
Thanks All In Advance,
Regards,

Hi,
You can load Excel data into Qlikview. You can also load CSV, TSV, Excel, XML or any other database. The data should be in a valid format to read. Qlikview maintains the relationship between the datasources(Tables) based on the column names.
You can use the Table option in Qlikview Edit Script tab to import the data into Qlikview.
Hope this helps you.
Regards,
Jagan.
Thanks for your help. It works.
