If you are looking for a tool, it's not there. ☹️ If you are looking for procedure - it's almost like re-starting a new project with few things expected to be already there, like : BRD, tech docs ... that can help you get the back ground of the requirements and understanding the existing data sources and it's relationships,... Overhead could be understanding tableau calculations and knowing the product upto some extend (unless you already know).
