We are currently extracting information directly from a SQL database. Obviously, we have no problem doing this. The problem came when we tried to connect into a database, which is in .DAT format. ¿There are some kind of OLEDB/ODBC connector, special for a .DAT database? ¿How we can extract the tables?
¿There's a more simpler way to do that, a .DAT extraction?

EDIT: My bad. We tought that the .DAT were databases, but they're tables. Each .DAT is a table. Anyway, we tried to extract them directly from the Data From Files - Table Files, but QlikView camn't read them. Supossedly, the system generates the .DAT files, but it generates them with a lot of garbage. ¿Anyone hs ever tried to extract a .DAT file? ¿Do you know if this is a QlikView Problem?
