How the final application of qv will be viewed by end user

Hi All,

This may be the silly question please excuse me if it is like so , Once we developed the whole application of qv and assume that the application is ready to deliver and now how this application will be viewed by end user ?

That depends on your method of distribution.

  • If you plan to distribute the QVW document as a stand-alone application (to users with QV Desktop and a Named CAL, or as a document handled by the OCX that is built into some other software solution), they will more-or-less view your document like you do as a developer. The number of toolbars and menus to support their actions may differ, however.

  • If you plan to distribute your document via the AccessPoint (a website that makes QVW applications available in a very controlled way), users need to open a browser session and navigate to either your AP or to a location via a direct link, or to another portal site where parts of your document have been embedded in existing pages (e.g. SharePoint). This method of distribution comes with many more techniques to manage users, access and availability of data. In a company/enterprise environment, this is the preferred distribution technique.

It can be done in two ways.

1.Visualizing with desktop application.

2.Visualizing with Access point with CAL from QV Server(Browser is required for client to access it).
