How to Avoid Null Values like(-)?

Hi Community,

                         In my Application Showing null values like , whenever i select

-> Go to Chart Properties -> Select Dimension ->I Select Suppress where value is Null

when i select this the count of values showing wrong and select show all values the count of all values showing exact values, but in dimension showing Null Symbol how do i remove this null symbol?

Can anybody give me solution for this Null Values

Hi Khasim,

In order to suppress the null value, you need to tick "Suppress When Value is Null" in Dimensions Tab but the sum of PendingCallCount will show 17925 instead of 18103 in Subtotals row because you have some records where PendingCallCount has values without OrganizationBrand. Hope this explains.

If you absolutely have to just supress the null but keep the total as the overall value, you could use dimensionality to sort this for you (I would recommend fixing the nulls though)

                    Thanks for revert my calls count is 18103 for today from database also i have checked calls count.

when i am using chart objects i am getting null symbol. why i am getting this is there any reason?

Hi Khasim,

The reason was explained in my earlier reply. You have some records where PendingCallCount field has values but the OrganizationBrand field is empty (i.e. Null). You can check this by adding a Table box with these variables.

                    As you Said my Organization Brand field is not empty. i already checked, may be the problem is data showing null.

You have 59593 rows of data in your table "AllIndiaReport".
