How to Import chart from excel to qlikview

I need some help to import a chart from excel to qlikview, how can i do it ?

You read the data from excel into QlikView and then create the chart in QlikView.

this can be done..

1) goto the edit script and at the bottom u find the table files.

through table files select the excel file where it is located.

2) generate the qvds and reload the applicaiton

3)then in the front end presentation build the chart wiht the fields that u have

Hi ppl i solved my problem thanks a lot for helping me.

Why import chart from Excel ? because the dimensions are complicated to calculate, but i exported the data to Excel to do the calculations and after this, Export again to QlikView to do the new Chart.

Hey nunofrib,

can u tell me how you did this, i want to export an object from Qlikview to Excel, work on it there and than import to Qlikview again. Is this possible?
