How to apply grand total in pivot table?

Hi guys,

I have created a pivot table. I want the grand total i.e. Total of first column. I have applied partial sums but it is giving subtotals for each row.

How to apply grand total  in pivot table?

Thanks.

Would you be able to share a sample or some screenshot to take a closer look at your issue?

Hi Girish,

if you Need Grand total, you can use then a straight table

Have you just ticked the partial sums against your first chart dimension only?

This should be the correct approach. When using Partial Sums, keep in mind that sums will be added BEFORE the level you indicated, not after it - so if you add Partial Sums to the top dimension, you will get a grand total; if you add Partial Sums to the second dimension, you will get each value in your first dimension totaled; etc.

Play with your pivot by Checking Partial sums for all your dimensions and see, if it  still doesn't work, please share a sample

Also I hope you are not trying this with valuelist() in Dimensions?
