How to capture a field triggering a particular action

Hi ,

I have an action defined on OnSelect and On Change trigger of a field . I want to capture the name of the field everytime this trigeer causes an action . Is there an API for that. One way is to use multibox object where the field exists.Any ideas.

You can have the action to include setting a variable which will capture the field name.
