How to create a bar chart to compare evolution between companies

Hi,

I need to create a bar chart in order to compare the evolution from the current month to previous month.

How can I do that?

Thanks,

Ronan

Hello Ronan,

One way is to use inter-record functions (above, after...).

Check the example in this link (it returns an error when attaching a document in the post).

Hope that helps

Hi Miguel,

First of all, thanks for your help.

Your sample is very close to what I need, although, I need to plot companies on the x axis, instead months.

I will always check the sales evolution at the current month.

I need check these data under 2 dimensions "Companies" and "Month"

The formula I'm using is the following:

(Sum(Sales_Amount)/sum(before(Sales_Amount))-1

It brings me "There is no data do display"

Hi,

Try first creating a straight table so you can check that the values are displayed right, otherwise set the expression right.

Then, in the General tab under the properties of the same chart, use the bar chart and display the information using the dimensions you want.

Hope that helps.
