Hi all,
Is it possible to create a group inside qlikview server (without using LDAP) and give CAL for that group. For example I have a limit of 10 CAL in my assigned CALs. but my 10th CAL should be a group with 20 users. so all those 20 user should be able to access the reports(should not be more than this 20).
Thanks
It's not possible to create such groups - you should consider to buy additional licences.

Thanks for the info Marcus.
Normally we can create a generic user id in the CAL right. using that everyone in the network can access the reports.
That's how now we are managing the CAL restriction.
But is there any way to restrict the scope of generic user id to 20 users.
Nope - if you are bypassing the CAL conditions you will have to live with the disadvantages which it brings with it. If there are no disadvantages or it would be very easy to handle it - nobody would purchase licences ...

Thanks Marcus
