How to display data horizontally for a dimension in pivot table.

Hi all,

I have three dimensions and 1 measure in my pivot table. i was able to display all the dimensions vertically, but i would like to have one of the dimension displayed horizontally.

Hi,

Just left click on a value for this dimension and drag holding left click to the header row.

You would see how an horizontal arrow is shown, when you see it unhold the left click and voilà!

Use Pivoting in Pivot table

Click the dimension label and drag it to the top of the Pivot table. As soon as you start dragging the dimension (or expression, they both work), you will see a blue arrow that indicates where your dimension will be placed and in what direction.

Make sure the allow pivoting is checked and then select and hold the desired dimension and drag it to the top right until the blue line displays horizontal and release.
