How to get the sales values based on previous 6 months

Hi,

I have a client who wants to enter

History	October
History	November
History	December
History	January
History	February
History	March
Forecast	April
Forecast	May
Forecast	June
Forecast	July
Forecast	August
Forecast	September

and based on this the data which has three years of data should automatically use the last 12 months and forecast 6 months should be based on previous 6 months average.

I am new to qlikview , Can someone suggest some work arround??

Do you want to create another flag field that contains History, Forecast if so.

Try this

Load

If( NumDatefield >= Addmonths(addmonths,-6), 'ForeCast','History') as StatusField

Well even then it doesn't work as expected, we are still unable to find the 3 months
