How to hide the 'Total' column in a straight and pivot table

Hello,

I have several dimensions and an expression that counts company. Is there a way to hide the entire Total column in a straight and pivot table. I don't want the totals to show in the chart, instead I want to create a small separate box that counts the items. Is it possible to hide this column? I have a feeling it is not possible for a pivot table.

In a pivot table, you can just uncheck "Show Partial Sums" under Presentation for each dimension. In a straight table, go through each expression and change "Total Mode" on the right to "No Totals"

That only works to get rid of the the Total number (i tried that too), there is still a column at the end that that has a 1 for each row. I have a bunch of dimensions and the one expression is Total Count (which is really not neccesary becuase the tables are showing words not numbers and nothing really needs to be counted, however I didn't think it was possible to have a pivot table without an expresion.) THank you for your help.

Hi! I'm curious, what is the idea to have a column that you dont want to show? Are you using it to another calculation?

You're right that you need some expression to show a table. In a straight table, you can just hide this column. If your table allows it, try taking out one of the dimensions and making it an expression instead. Then you can get rid of the bogus '1'

In a pivot table, just change a dimelnsion (maybe the last one) to an expression wiht "only" aggregator e get rid of your bogus column
