How to identify the name of the file where inputfield values are stored?

Hi to everyone,

I need to delete the file where inputfield values are for a specific QV document, but I can't find it into my computer.

Someone can help me?

Many thanks and king regards.

Hi Massimilano,

Inputfield values modified by users are stored into .Shared (with the same name as the original QVW file, i.e.: File.qvw.Shared) files when the document is in a server. In your local computer they are stored in the QVW file itself as variable values are. To reset their values, right click on a listbox showing the values or any chart with them, and select Restore Values, Restore All Values.

Hope that helps.

Hi Miguel,

I have Query related to Input field. If there are multiple users accessing the same QVW file at the Server. And every one tried to provide different inputs . Then is there any way to track the input details of each user from the .Shared file. or We can track it in the Audit log.

Hi,

There is none, as far as I'm concerned. Try anyway the QV Power Tools to check the .Shared file, but the Audit log does not record inputfield changes but selections.

Hope that helps.
