Hello Dears
I have the following functionality to implement in Qlikview. Can you please help?
As I don't know how to retrieve the value calculated from one row and bring in into another column into the next row to calculate a new value?
Please find attached excelsheet for reference. THanks in advance.
Use like below for [Projected Stock]
Below(Sum([Stock Quantity]))
More information, Look at here Missing Manual - Above() and Below()
Hello Anil,
Thanks for your response. In my excel sheet, the data has been ordered by Year and Week.
But this may not be the case in the real raw data files.
Can the function 'Below(Sum([Stock Quantity]))' still be used in this case?
Best Regards,
Chandu
Thanks for your response. In my excel sheet, the data has been ordered by Year and Week.
You can use Sort option in Qlikview
But this may not be the case in the real raw data files.
What does the Mean real raw data. Would you share sample data with 5 rows and let us know expected result
Can the function 'Below(Sum([Stock Quantity]))' still be used in this case?
May be we can go a head if you reply for second one
Hello,
I meant that in the true raw data each row has approximately 50 to 60 different column names such as company, Item Name, Country, model code, model name and data for 3 years that is around 150 weeks of data for millions of items.
Would it be difficult to order it using sort?
Or maybe is it possible to use joins in order to implement the above functionality?
The functionality I require would be to implement the above in qlik scripting so that I have the above data in the form of a table. Can you please help?
Thanks in advance
