How to make a separate filter for each chart?

I have 2 identical stacked bar charts in qlikview. I need to select 2 date ranges in the filters. How can I make one chart display data related to the first date range and the second chart display data for the second date range?

I tried to do it with the set analysis by {$1}  but it is inconvenient. Can you please tell me how to do it in another way?

Alternate states is the solution. Create a new alternate state eg State1 and apply it to the first filter and the first chart. Create another alternate state eg State2 and apply it to the other filter and chart.

we can achieve this Alternate states option.

First create two  Alternate States  dimensions  and assign the those dimensions to the two separate filters and charts that should be used.

It will work.
