How to make the bars on a bar chart shorter and the text longer

Hello experts,

This is one thing I just can't figure out.

I would like to have some bar charts where the text is longer (allowing for ethnic names like mine:)) and the bars on the bars smaller.

The reason is that I need the bar charts only to show a comparison and trend, not to show accurate numbers.

Here is what I am trying to achieve:

it can be done by using ctrl+shift ,

ctrl+shift gives you an option to size/move anything in a chart try to increase legend size & reduce chart size then you can acheive ur requirement
