How to pass variable in Pivot Table? like for Top/bottom N analysis

Use the variable in set analysis in one or more pivot table expressions.

Or use Dimension Limits. The expression input box where you put the number of values to keep allows you to enter expressions. So a simple =vNumToShow expression will do.
