How to plot a line chart with big amount of data points
I'm trying to create a line chart with the following: Y-axis is Temperature. X -Axis is datetime. Temperature is measured every 5 minutes, so you have around 288 values per day. I may need to show a year, which is over 100K values. This should all (or most) be visible as a line chart with no scrolling. The idea is to have a very dense and crowded chart, like a frequency or vibration chart (see attached image for example) when only the Start Of Week dates are shown on the Axis (e.g. 11/4/19, 11/11/19, etc.) with the first value on that date representing the point on the line. Any ideas how that can be done? Any examples can help!
