How to recover a .qvw file

I've read in multiple places, including

and Personal Edition FAQs

that in order to open documents created using a previous installation of QlikView, you will need to "recover" the files. But none of these FAQs tell me *how* to recover the file.

So how do you "recover" a file?

Perhaps try this:Restore the previous version of the report
