How to sort Date field in Pivot table

Hi all,

I want to sort some column based on the a date field.

I am trying to put an expression where i am changing the field to date and trying to sort.

But it is still not happening.

Urgent help is required.

Hi,

In the Pivot Table properties, Under the sort tab:

Select the column which u need to sort,Enable the expression option and put the date field.

It will work.

For Ex :

If u want to sort a column A based on say 'Start Date'

Then select Column A -In the Expression option, put Start date and select asc or desc based on your requirement.

Pivot tables are a bit tricky with regards to sorting. It's not clear to me what you're trying to do. Can you post a sample document with an explanation? See Preparing examples for Upload - Reduction and Data Scrambling

Hi,
