I am new to Qlikview and just wondering if you guys could help me with the following question:

I have got a filter on Sheet A, but when I switched to Sheet B, the filter is still appearing on B...

Just wondering how do i remove it o B..

I have tried trigger - clear all, but its not removing the filter.

You can use alternate states for your tabs or you can use triggers. Can you share a sample where trigger did not work? I hope it was a sheet level trigger.

If you've used the sheet properties > Trigger > "onActivateSheet" or "onLeaveSheet" >clear all. this should clear all for you. unless you've locked your selection, then you will need to unlock field/all and clear sheet/all

Thanks.

Thanks Sunny,

But I dont think i have made myself clear yet... its not the selected filter that i want to remove from a different tab... its that i have a filter in sheet 1 (without anything being selected) and when i change to sheet 2, that filter itself appears on sheet 2..

Why not post a couple of screen shots to illustrate the issue?

Hi Andy,

its alright now, i figured out it was because there were duplicate input boxes on different sheets, so delete sorted out anything.
