How to turn off Sheet Properties opening after reload

Does anyone else find it annoying that the Sheet Properties opens every time we reload our data?

Is there a way to turn that off?

Thanks

Hi,

Whenever there is change in script, Sheet properties will be highlighted.

I don't think there is any direct way to hide it.

The easiest way is to hit ESC after reload.

Hi Nikola,

If you run the reload from the script editor then the dialogue will appear.  If you run the reload from the UI then it will not appear.

Hope that helps,

Josh

There must be a way of turning this off as mine has only just started to do this. Never had this pop up before yesterday.

Is there still no solution for it?

The only thing I can suggest would be to 'clear' your Settings.ini file for the Desktop Client/QV.exe, by default this will be located in:

C:\Users\UserProfileName\AppData\Roaming\QlikTech\QlikView

If you have Authentication section in there, you will likely want to keep the file and just clear the contents minus what is in Authentication, as that is your license info, if you clear that, you will have to relicense the client.  I am not sure what setting would be causing the issue, but this is the only thing of which I can think that is causing it if it was not happening previously.  Hopefully may do the trick for you.

If you did make any changes to the Settings.ini, be sure to keep those as well etc.

Regards,
Brett
