How would I write Set expression for different criterias?

My formula is below, how would I write Set expression?

=((table1 expession/table2 expression)*1000*(#ofdays in year))/#ofdays in month field1

On what do you need Set Analysis? Set analysis is analogus to WHERE in SQL.

I'm filtering my variables in my expression in my pivot table.  I read that Set analysis was most efficient way to calculate.  I'm not sure how to write my formula using Set analysis syntax.
