I want a value not affected by selection

Hi

I want to create a formula (on the front end) where the value (total) is not affected by selection.

So lets say for example:   I have a back orders on an item (say Item A) from the following customers below:

Item A:

Customer                Quantity on Back Order

    A                                        30

    B                                        20

    C                                        50

TOTAL                                    100

In the list box if i select customer A, I want to still want to show a back order (Total) of  100.

kind regards

Nayan

Hi Karthik

I've screenshot your model.   however, the value for Item A should be 100 and not 230.

Hi Mohit

Thank you .  Your formula specifically chooses Customer A.  However, in my original model i have over 2000 customers.  How will the formula work then.

Hi All

Basically, what i want to see what is the total back order of an item no matter what customer  whether one or more than one) is selected .

So in my example above, if i select Item A , and if i select Customer A, or B or C, or all 3 customers or any 2 cusotmers , it must give a value of 100

Hi,

So the total row in the table gives you the total backorder for any item regardles of customer. Maybe you don't even want to show customers in this table? I've created the second table, that only shows back orders by items.

Best!

Hi Rokskrinjar

Thank you, it works.  I see the table you have its a pivot table.  Will this only work if it is a pivot table.

The second table could also be a straight table. The result would be the same.

The first table would need some tweaking.
