Hi Prasit,

You can use this qvw file to manage your .qvd. And you can try to use QDF (Qlik Deployment Framework).

Create a new QVW document. In script editor, select a load from Table file, in the dialog select "All types" and open the document you want to analyse on source QVDs and names. In the "File wizard: Type" dialog, select file type XML and source table "DocumentSummary\LineageInfo". Load.

AFAIK the xml import filter will load everything anyway, so you may not need to select a particular table. Just that now you know where you can find the information you're looking for.

Best,

Peter

True, but then your QVW won't have any data left from a specific QVD, or won't have any data at all. The trace is called LineageInfo, not AccessInfo or DependencyAnalysis. LineageInfo is only generated for data present in your QVW.

An alternative could be to document your Load script with TRACE statements that contain some form of (tagged) data source identification (like a keyword or a filename). Next you create a QVW that checks the reload log for particular string tags and parses the information in those lines.

Best,

Peter
