It won't show up unless they have installed it. You can enable a 'download link' on the access point portal to get them started. To do that hit the QMC -> QlikView Web Server -> access point and there is checkbox to expose the link.
Then they can control the default in their own access point profile (top right of screen).
Worth keeping in mind to set the default for users who haven't logged in (no profile yet) so that their profile has the default from the get go...less hassle.
