IE plug in and port 4747

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the setting of some ports to access to a Qlikview application using IE plug in.

The thing is that I've been reading some older posts, and as far as I understood, I believed that I would be able to open the application with the IE plug in, only if port 4747 is open. But in my case I can open the Qlikview file but when I checked (using netstat -an command) port 4747 status, it's not even listed. Is that possible?

Also, there's another user that can not access using the plug in. That's why my first thought was to check the status of port 4747.

But to make the case even weirder, she allegates that she used the IE plug in until yesterday.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
