Hello Experts,
When i am reloading the application, the dialog box says that SCRIPT EXECUTION SUCCEEDED,but after i close the dialog box,it says that SCRIPT EXECUTION FAILED.
SO,can anyone point me in the correct direction whether it is a BUG or not...
Thanks in Advance
Sandeep.
This is not a bug. Generally, if you are storing the data into QVD into folder and this folder does not exist physically you got this message. Some times, the QVD files got corrupt or you may use the same QVD into different application you get this message.
Please post the sample script or please check your syntax at end of the script.
The reason being it might be able to LOAD the data from the data base to QV, but afterwards may be failing due to unavailability of the storage location.
Thanks for the replies guys ,
But this is not happening over one single application ,we are facing this problem randomly across mutiple applications on different day.
Sandeep.
in addition to the above ,the same application which is failing today ,have reloaded successfully in the past and we may not face the same problem with the same application tomorrow ,but it may be associated to entirely different application
Please find the below error statement associated to QEMC Reload. The same type of error is logged when scheduled reload of different applications are failing.
Error: The task "Reload of QV Data\Live\Extract.qvw" failed. Exception:
(2014-01-07 06:14:46) Error: QDSMain.Exceptions.DistributionFailedException: Distribute failed with errors to follow. ---> QDSMain.Exceptions.ReloadFailedException: Reload failed ---> QDSMain.Exceptions.LogBucketErrorException: The Source Document was NOT reloaded successfully.
Do you have a log file for the task that fails? This should give more details of the step that is causing the error.
if you see log file , it will help you to know reason behind failure.
Hi Sandeep, the one reason for this is may be qvw got corrupted. So please create the backup on local and delete the file in the source documents and copy local to server source documents and then try to reload it again.
Hi ,
Are you creating any QVD on the fly and trying to use it on the same script while reloading the script ?? if yes then try to delete that particular qvd and try to reload ....
As far as i know this weird error happens only when some thing is referred and is changed or not available .....
