Hi all!
I have 1 document with 4 sheets. One of this sheets (called "Sheet3") has some different filters than the others.
The selections made by the user in a different sheet from "Sheet3" go to change Sheet3's data.....so i'd like to become "Sheet3" indipendent from other sheets in terms of filter's selections.
Is there a way to get this?
Thank you ![]()
Enable alternate states in the document properties, then put sheet 3 in an alternate state. This will make it so selections on sheet 3 will only affect objects on sheet 3. Also selections from other sheets will not affect sheet 3 either.

Thanks for the reply
.
Can you show me how I can create a different state?
In the settings of the document I can't find the entry for the creation of a new state ![]()
PS: I'm working with QlikView v.10
You can set a trigger that clears all previous selection when you enter the sheet.
To do this, in the properties of the sheet go to trigger and add the "Clear All" option.
Hope it helps
Sorry shouldn't have assumed, Alternate states were introducted in QV11. That's probably why you are not seeing it. I agree with Alexandros, triggers would be the fastest way.
Yes, I tried this, but my intention is to keep the selections made by the user. With the option "Clear All" I lost all selections
.
I think the best solution is to manage the different state as @jpapador suggested, but i have to migrate to version 11
