Importing a .dat file extension file

I have been trying to import a file with a .dat file extension type. When importing, the data gets imported in an unintelligible format:-

Any ideas on a fix?

I think you need to find some connector to read that.

Thanks, have to install a DBISAM driver. Qlikview does read the files once you establish a connection via the driver.

However, I some files do not read well.
