Importing sql views

I am using QV to interrogate a Sage based sql database. It looks as if I cannot import table views set up in this database.

I can understand why this might not be possible.....but can it be done?

Does it not allow you to see the views via the SQL Wizard?

Does the user in the ODBC CONNECT TO string (eg) have the correct permissions to query the views ?
