Increase in Active timeout for qlikview applications

Hi,

I would like increase the timeout when user is already making use of the qlikview applications actively in access point.

The following user occurs when user is active on the access point.

Error : Lost Connection to Server

so how to increase the timeout being active?

Session timeout is set on the QMC Setup, Server, Performance tab.  It may also be set on a per Document basis in Document Properties, Server tab.  The smaller of the two values is used.

You may also see the "Lost connection to Server" when the document is reloaded.

Hi Rwunderlich,

Thanks for the response. I could see the total session timeout is blank in my QMC . So I hope it means there is no limit. But, I am still getting this message (Lost connection to Server).

The following article should get you on the right track here, pretty sure it is most likely the SocketTimeOutInSeconds setting needing to be bumped up, but read through everything in the article and if something else makes more sense, tweak that.

Rob's comment was good as well, just not the one you were hitting in this instance.
