Incremental load - show the Timestamp of when the field was updated

I am carrying out an incremental load on a qvd using a Primary key. But in the update, a field may update from *blank* to it being populated.

How do I record the date in the table (as a new date field) of when the blank field gets populated?

Have you solved this issue by yourself ? We hope so.

On the other hand, without knowing your project needs, it could be said in a general manner that "blank" values should be avoided in Primary keys, don't you agree ?
