Insert images according to condition with some particular field .

Hello Everyone,

I am making a straight Table, In which a field of variance is present having some value based on actual and budget value,

I want to show upside arrow and downside arrow with the columns values.

Example:

Header 1	Header 2	Header 3	Header 4
Some Dimension	Actual	Budget	Variance %
Some value	Some value	Some value	if(Actual>Budget,upside arrow,downside arrow) with some value in % based on formula

is it possible in qlikview ?

If yes please provide me the way.

If no, please provide me some alternative.

Yup - you sure can.

Look at the Data Management tab on the Sales Compass.qvw that comes with the examples when you install QV Desktop installation.

It uses this as a Straight Table Expression.

     =If([Customer / Non-Customer]='Customers', 'qmem://<bundled>/BuiltIn/led_g.png','qmem://<bundled>/BuiltIn/led.png')

You can use whatever image files you wish.

can you please attach some sample file for it and one more thing if i want to take upside and downside arrow in from qlikview Arrow object only then how can i do it,

Hi,

See the attached document,

go to data management tab, and data management straight table>> first expression, you have to set representation as Image, and then you can select any image from down expression editor>> image tab..

see the document, if not clear, just ask please..

I am sure you can find image files of upside and downside arrow, by searching the web.
