Hi Keerthi,

in order to achieve this you have to switch from bar chart to combo chart.

In the chart properties expression tab under 'Display Options' mark 'Bar' and 'Values on Data Points' for the expression of the working time (on the presentation tab mark 'Set Values inside Segments').

Back on the expression tab add two new expressions:

i) in time,

the metric is "Sum(intime)" and you have to mark 'Line', 'Values on Data Points' and 'Invisible'. This will place the values of in time into the bottom of your bar segments.

ii) Out time,

the metric is "Dual(Time(Sum(Outtime), 'hh:mm'), Sum(Outtime) -'01:00' )" . Also you have to mark 'Line', 'Values on Data Points' and 'Invisible', but very important, because we are using the dual function you have to go to the number tab and mark 'Expression Default' for your expression 'Out time' otherwise the dual function will not work properly. The textual part of the dual function will give you the right value for your data point, whereas the numerical part will place this value just into the upper part of your bar segment.

That's all, very easy, no witchcraft.

Happy qliking
