Is possible "drag and drop" to create Dinamic Table?

Hi guys!

In some BI Tools we can to just drag and drop the columns from a table to the dashboard to build a dinamic table. Isn't necessary open a properties window to do this.

Is it possible with QlikView 10 ? This kind of develop is an idea to new versions?

tks

If you want your USERS to be able to do this, then while this isn't exactly what you're asking for, attached is one way for users to build dynamic charts without opening the properties window.

If YOU want to be able to do this, that's not how QlikView works. You add fields by opening the properties window and clicking on the fields you want. I haven't played with version 10 much yet though, so I can't say for sure that it doesn't have drag and drop, but I doubt it.

If you use the AJAX client you can drag expressions and dimensions from a repository of existing expressions and dimensions in the QV application to the properties window of new charts. You still have to open a properties window, but since AJAX updates automatically as you change the properties it is as if you are dragging it into the graph. Is feature is available since version 9.

I did not know that! I really should experiment more with AJAX.
